Auction clearance rates remain strong across Victoria with a healthy average clearance rate of 79 per cent recorded this past weekend of Sunday 17th July 2016.
Interestingly, these clearance rates are consistent with the range achieved this time last year (75 per cent), albeit with some 187 fewer auctions held.
It’s also worth noting the strong clearance rates achieved for both houses and units, indicating a strong market with healthy signs of continued growth this year.
Melbourne’s north is performing strongly at present – namely Mill Park and South Morang having recorded the highest auction sales this month, with South Morang also delivering nine per cent price growth in the June quarter.
