Melbourne Once Again Most Liveable City Plus Victoria Charging Ahead With Population Growth
One of the key drivers of the housing and property market relates to population growth, with recent studies revealing Victoria atop the charts.
In fact, the state had roughly 6 million residents in June 2015, an increase of almost 500,000 over five years, according to new study by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
At a closer look, Greater Melbourne grew to 4.53 million, as the worlds most liveable city for the 6th consecutive year running continues to attract residents from far and wide in pursuit of employment opportunities, healthcare, education, stability, culture, environment and infrastructure.
According to the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Melbourne scored 97.5 out of 100 possible points to top the list, outing Vienna, Vancouver and Toronto to take out the top spot — and for local Melbournian’s, it’s no surprise — and here’s why:
